BeeHome: Building a Greener Future, One Small Cabin at a Time
When we talk about climate change, it often feels like a problem only governments or big companies can solve. But what if every backyard, every family, and every small business could help? That’s the promise of BeeHome.
One Cabin, Carbon Locked
Each BeeHome is built primarily with wood. Wood is more than just a renewable material—it’s a natural carbon vault. On average, a single BeeHome locks away 1.8–2.7 tons of CO₂, roughly equal to the emissions of a car running for an entire year.
Power From the Sun
On the roof of every BeeHome lies a flat-mounted solar system (1.1 kW). Even when operating at about half capacity, it generates 500–900 kWh of clean electricity each year. That means cutting 0.2–0.5 tons of CO₂ emissions annually—and much more if replacing dirty diesel generators.
Scaling Up the Impact
One BeeHome makes a difference. Millions can change the world.
-
10,000 BeeHomes → ~365,000 tons CO₂ avoided in 5 years
-
100,000 BeeHomes → ~3.65 million tons
-
1,000,000 BeeHomes → ~36.5 million tons
-
Goal: 20 million BeeHomes → over 700 million tons in 5 years
That’s the equivalent of taking 150 million cars off the road for a year.
More Than Shelter
A BeeHome isn’t just a cabin—it’s a “micro carbon factory.” Each one provides shelter, energy, and security while actively helping the planet. Instead of waiting for top-down solutions, BeeHome empowers communities everywhere to be part of the climate solution.
Why It Matters
Big wind and solar farms are like green giants. BeeHomes are like green bees. One bee’s work seems small—but when millions move together, they reshape the ecosystem
👉 Our vision: 20 million BeeHomes worldwide, creating a grassroots carbon solution that is fast, affordable, and accessible to all. Together, we can build a greener future—one small cabin at a time.
